Our Mission
Transforming Physical Education for a Healthier Tomorrow
The early years of education (ages 4-11) are the most critical for developing lifelong physical activity habits, yet many schools struggle to deliver high-quality PE that engages every child. Research shows that:
-
Children’s attitudes toward physical activity are largely formed before the age of 11, influencing whether they stay active for life (Sport England, 2023).
-
Physically active children perform better academically, with active pupils being 20% more likely to achieve higher grades (Youth Sport Trust).
-
Only 47% of children in England get the recommended 60 minutes of daily activity, leaving many at risk of long-term inactivity (Sport England, 2023).
-
31% of children leave primary school overweight or obese (NHS Digital, 2023), highlighting the need for early intervention.
Despite these facts, PE is often underdeveloped, inconsistent, or misaligned with whole-school priorities. Schools need structured programmes and expert support to embed high-quality PE into their curriculum and school culture.
At Transform PE, we bridge this gap by:
-
Delivering expert-led PE that follows a structured, progressive curriculum.
-
Helping schools implement sustainable programmes that improve physical literacy, well-being, and whole-school outcomes.
-
Providing strategies to ensure PE, School Sports and Physical Activity are ingrained in school policy, rather than treated as an afterthought.
-
Creating positive early experiences, ensuring children develop confidence, competence, and enjoyment in movement.
